Valley National Bank 2020 East 21^st January 8, 2009 Police say the robbery happened at 9:20 a.m. at the Valley National Bank at 2020 East 21^st. The suspect entered the bank, gave a teller a note demanding a certain amount of cash. No gun was seen and the teller complied with the robber's request. He handed the teller a note, demanding a certain amount of cash. He told the teller not to push any buttons or he would have the teller killed. The suspect fled on foot. Tulsa Police believe that the suspect was the same person who robbed Valley National Bank earlier in the day. A Tulsa Police dog tracked a scent from the bank, but lost it a couple of blocks away. Police believe that the suspect may have gotten into a car. IBC Bank 8202 E. 71^st January 11, 2009 Tulsa Police say a man, wearing a shoulder length wig and fake beard, entered the IBC Bank at 8202 East 71^st Street. Yale January 16, 2009 Tulsa Police say two suspects robbed the bank. Both are described as white, 5'10 and 160-175 pounds. Both were wearing panty hose over their faces and the knife wielder has a dark sloth mask on the lower part of his face. Sheridan January 22, 2009 Police say at about 9:15 a.m., a lone suspect entered a branch of Bank of America at 5101 South Sheridan and demanded money. Police say a gun was implied. The suspect fled the bank and got into a dark green Plymouth Voyager type van. Garnett February 3, 2009 Tulsa Police say a man came up behind an employee who was entering the bank and forced his way inside using a handgun. He went to the bank's vault and filled a trash bag with money before running away. Police believe that the suspect is the same person who robbed an IBC Bank on January 11. Police say the suspect is a male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 130 to 140 pounds and 30 to 40 years of age. The bank was full of customers at the time of the robbery. The note also indicated that the suspect was armed with a gun. The teller put an unknown amount of money into the bag and the suspect left the scene.
