Update October 13th, 2009: The Sutton Center reports that its two nest cameras are broken and weeks of rainy weather has cut off the power to the wide-angle camera. Technicians at the Sutton Center are waiting for the weather to improve before climbing the tower to retrieve and repair the two nest cameras. They’re hoping that the pair of eagles will return to the nest this winter to lay a new batch of eggs. They’re confident that will happen in January, because the same pair of eagles has returned to the same nest for more than 20 years.
