TULSA, OK -- The Oklahoma Institute for Disaster and Emergency Medicine held a disaster drill Wednesday morning. The drill took place at 41st and Yale.
Officials with the OU Health Science Center warned residents they might hear loud noises and sirens during the drill, but that it was only a drill.

An OU official said the training teaches health care providers and pre-hospital personnel how to respond to a mass casualty event and properly treat patients.
