TULSA, OK -- Tulsa firefighters responded to a residential fire at 7713 E. 53 Place at about 8:25 p.m. Thursday. The 2,200 square-foot, two-story home was heavily involved, according to Bill French of the Tulsa Fire Department.
The home's residents have escaped the building, he said.
Firefighters made two attempts to enter the house but had to back off because of heavy fire involvement. The garage and second floor of the house were fully engulfed.
