OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - AAA Oklahoma is expanding its program to give drinkers a ride home to now include the Thanksgiving holiday.
AAA spokesman Chuck Mai says the program will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday and run until 10 p.m. Sunday in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Muskogee, Ardmore, Enid, Lawton and Shawnee.
The program allows people who believe they've had too much to drink to call for a free ride home.
The service is offered at no charge, no questions asked. AAA will give you and your car a free ride home within a 15-mile radius from the point of pickup, day or night, during the 4-day Thanksgiving holiday period.
