The driver of the speeding car abandoned his vehicle and ran from the scene, police say.

TULSA, OK -- A hit and run wreck Tuesday evening in north Tulsa sent an elderly couple to the hospital.
The crash happened near the intersection of Apache and Peoria at about 8 p.m.
Tulsa firefighters say both vehicles were traveling southbound on Peoria when one car rear-ended the other at a high rate of speed. The impact caused the car that was hit to roll over.
About an hour before the accident, Tulsa Police say a person armed with a gun carjacked the first car outside a restaurant near Pine and Peoria.
The elderly couple in the accident, 84-year-old Bob Bartholic and his 70-year-old wife, Barbara, were ejected from their car. Both are listed in serious condition at a Tulsa hospital.
Tulsa Police are still looking for the driver of other car.
