TULSA, OK -- Tulsa International Mayfest has announced Cherry Poppin' Daddies will be the national headline act.
They are scheduled to play on the main stage on the Williams Green at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15th. The concert will be free and open to the public.
The Cherry Poppin' Daddies celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2009 with the honor of an induction into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
"I'd like to thank Angie DeVore-Green and Tom Green, Owners of Dfest and Enso Bar/Lounge, for their assistance in booking the Cherry Poppin' Daddies," said Heather Pingry, Mayfest Executive Director. "I know they're going to be a great fit for Mayfest and audiences of all ages will enjoy the show! I'd also like to thank Eric and Sarah Gomez for booking our local and regional bands. We've got a great lineup this year and will feature over seventy-five acts on three outdoor stages."
