TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Public schools has a new partner in education.

The folks at Camp Loughridge signed an agreement Tuesday with Tulsa Public Schools that will allow the district free access to their outdoor classroom.

Now teachers can take their elementary and middle school science lessons to a new level and it's fun for the kids too.

"As a way of getting them out of the inside, and into the outside. And offering school teachers an opportunity for a field trip with a purpose," said Vince King, Camp Loughridge Director.

Camp Loughridge has been around since 1959 and hosts a variety of activities for the entire community, including summer camps, retreats, and conferences.
