TULSA, Oklahoma -- River Spirit Casino closed its doors late Sunday morning due to a water main break. And just under 24 hours later, the casino re-opened Monday morning.
The casino is located at 81st and Riverside Drive in Tulsa.
The break was to the water main that feeds all water to the casino and event center, General Manager Jerry Floyd told News On 6.
Casino officials say efforts to resolve the problem were hampered by the rupturing of a gas line at the location at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Crews from Oklahoma Natural Gas and the Tulsa Fire Department were called to the site, but digging in the area was halted for several hours.
The break was at the 81st and Riverside intersection, according to casino officials.
A man was arrested Monday for attempting to steal two televisions from a Glenpool Walmart on Labor Day.
