Missy’s is famous for their freshly made food. There are no leftovers at this place. The owners have had several bakeries in different towns, but settled in Guthrie three years ago. Come out for a coffee, doughnut and a chance to be seen on a special edition of News 9 This Morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Stable’s Cafe

The Stable’s Cafe has been around for a long time (since 1987). It has become a staple in the life of Guthrians. There is a little bit of everything and a lot of a lot of things at the Stable’s. Visit Stable’s Cafe from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. for a Meet & Greet with Amanda Taylor and Alex Cameron.

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

89er Day Rodeo

No town festival is complete without a hometown rodeo. The 89er Day Rodeo is held at the Logan County Fairgrounds. They have bull riding, barrel racing, and some big time fun. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. watch live reports with Gary England, and enjoy a fun Meet & Greet, admission is free for kids 12 and under.

School Visits

Guthrie High School

Robin Marsh, Stan Miller and Jed Castles will join Guthrie High at the beginning of their school day on Wednesday to hang out with students, participate in some spirit activities and try not to get expelled.

GUES Elementary

Oklahoma’s number one Meteorologist, Gary England, will teach kids about Oklahoma weather during an entertaining and informative weather presentation.

Lions Club

R&R Event Center

Amanda Taylor and Alex Cameron will participate in a special discussion meeting of the Lions Club at the R&R Event Center located inside the Sante Fe Depot.
