The Brady Arts District is one of the oldest parts of Tulsa, dating back to the early 1900s. Located north of the Santa Fe Railroad tracks and centered on Main Street and Brady Avenue, it's well known for its numerous 2-story brick warehouse buildings. Many of those buildings have been or are being converted into modern spaces, breathing new life into the north side of downtown Tulsa.
We need your help, Green Country! We'll be including a digital time capsule in our new building and want your suggestions on what we should include. We're planning on opening the time capsule in 2063, so think hard about what you would want Oklahomans to know about our community 50 years from now. It can be photos, videos, stories...the sky is the limit. Use the form below to let us know what you think we should include.
Scheduled for completion in late 2012, the new Griffin Communications Media Center will house Tulsa's number one television station--Oklahoma's Own News On 6, as well as NewsOn6.com, The Tulsa CW, Money Saving Queen, This TV Network, News On 6 Now (A Partnership with Cox Communications) and Griffin New Media. The new facility, located at 303 North Boston Avenue in the Brady Arts District, will house more than 185 employees in 57,000 square feet and be located on 3 acres.
Track the construction progress on our new home by watching the Osage Casino Skycam located on top of the Bank of Oklahoma Tower. And be sure to check back when construction is completed, as we'll be debuting a time lapse video of the entire construction process.
