Bixby Hires Attorney To Fight PSO's Wind Catcher Project
The City of Bixby says it will take legal action to prevent PSO's Wind Catcher project from going through their city. The council voted Monday to hire an attorney to argue before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission that it should deny PSO's application for pre-approval of the Wind Catcher Energy Project.
Muggy Tuesday With Isolated Showers Across Eastern Oklahoma
Warm and muggy today with increasing clouds during the morning hours. We should have some sun breaks this afternoon with temperatures in the upper 80s and heat indices in the mid 90s. A few isolated showers and storms are expected to bubble up this afternoon mainly south of I-44.
Sand Springs Police Chase Ends In Owasso
Police are still looking for a man they say led them on a chase from Sand Springs to Owasso early Tuesday. The chase started near the Sand Springs Walmart store on Highway 97 just after midnight, when police found a Mercury Cougar with tags that didn't match the car.
