OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A league official says NBA fans in Oklahoma City will be out of luck next season.

NBA President of League and Basketball Operations Joel Litvin says Oklahoma City will be without NBA basketball after this season.

The New Orleans Hornets will be returning to Louisiana next season, but there has been some speculation that the Seattle Supersonics could relocate to Oklahoma City. Litvin says that won't be the case.

However, Litvin did tell The Oklahoman that Oklahoma City is the natural next spot in the event of expansion or relocation.
