You've heard that old expression, "If those walls could talk." Well what if it was a talking house?

News on Six consumer reporter Rick Wells tell us about a couple of Realtors who hope talking houses will sell faster. On any given weekend there are 5 to 6,000 houses for sale, in Tulsa and lots of people out looking for that dream house. You've been out I know looking at houses. Endless real estate agents to call. Those free information containers that never seem to have any free information in 'em.

Well here's an opportunity to find out something about this house without ever leaving the car. John Ragan and John Sipes of the Ragan-Sipes group of McGraw Davidson Stewart Realtors are bringing back the talking house, a way to give consumers more information instantly. John Sipes, "our goal is to get the property sold and we'll do whatever we can to get it sold."

Talking house is not new; it's been around since the early 90's. It's low power AM, the range is about 2 to 300 feet, from the transmitter inside the house, the length of the message is up to about five minutes, plenty of time to let the lookers know what they need. In the long run it's a time saver for everybody. â€œWe're not gonna waste their time having to show 'em they have no desire to see anyway."

Ragan and Sipes bought five units to test, they've had 'em a week.
