The Tulsa Crime Commission is upping the ante in the fight against street gangs. The commission has launched a new campaign called Save Our Streets and the Cherokee Casino Resort is joining in.

The casino donated $10,000 Wednesday to the commission's Crimestoppers fund. The extra money will go toward tips about gang-related crimes.

In the past, information leading to an arrest earned the caller $1,000, but thanks to Wednesday’s donation a tipster could earn as much as $1,500.
