  • My grandmother is a remarkable woman and I'm so proud to have her in my life.  She has been a breast cancer survivor for going on 4 years now. 

  • I was diagnosed in September of 2005 after I had my first mammogram (years late by the way). I was so proud of myself for having my first mammogram, and then I was told the news that I had breast cancer.

  • My journey was almost exactly like yours! The only difference is that I had eight rounds of chemotherapy instead of four. I found that the exhaustion was the worst part of the chemotherapy (not so much with the radiation).

  • Your strength and openness have been a blessing to so many women in northeast Oklahoma, and I know you have been blessed for sharing the way you have.

  • I had a mammography in December, 1992. I found my lump June, 1993. Had a mastectomy in July. The cancer had spread. Eleven of the 21 lymph nodes taken out were affected.

  • I thank God daily and give Him the credit for my extraordinarly good health. Breast cancer is no long a death sentence. We will survive and thrive!

  • In October of 2005, I found a lump in my right breast.  Not to worry - I called the doctor. She examines me, and sends me for a mammogram and an ultrasound.
