GEARY, Okla. (AP) - A 41-year-old truck driver from Chickasha has died in an accident on a rural Blaine County road.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Charles Craig Brown died in the accident that happened about 4:50 p.m. on Saturday about five miles west of Geary.
Troopers say Brown's tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on the county road at an unsafe speed when he failed to negotiate a left-hand turn. The vehicle exited the roadway to the right, rolled three-quarters of a time and came to rest on its left side.
Brown was ejected from the vehicle and pinned underneath it for about two hours. He died at the scene.
