CORDELL, Oklahoma -- Guthrie was transformed into a Hollywood set a few weeks ago with Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba and other stars in Oklahoma to shoot a movie. The cast and crew have now moved onto Cordell in southwestern Oklahoma where this small town now includes some movie magic of its own.

Cordell Mayor Alex Damon said a few changes will be made in Cordell for the movie "The Killer Inside Me." The water tower with the town's name will be digitally altered to the name of the town in the movie, Central City.

"There have been some collateral improvements that have been great and it's generated a great deal of excitement," Damon said.

A couple who owns the Sunshine Cafe in Cordell got a big surprise before the movie moved into town.

"When they told me they wanted to make a movie here in the restaurant I said 'Yeah right. Who put you up to this?'" said Terry Jones.

Terry and his wife Donna couldn't believe the film crew was using their restaurant. The couple also got to play themselves, the cook and a waitress, in the five minute scene, though their restaurant got a name change to the Courthouse Diner.

Besides Guthrie and Cordell, filming will also take place in Enid, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
