OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Four Oklahoma school districts have been recognized for excellence in accounting.
State Superintendent Sandy Garrett says Jenks Public Schools, Cordell Public Schools, Fargo Public Schools and Liberty Public Schools have won Excellence in Financial Reporting Awards.
"This award means these districts, above all others in their size category, practice the highest standards in timeliness and accuracy of their financial reporting and are being diligent in their stewardship of taxpayer funds," said Superintendent Sandy Garrett.
