Alcohol Possible Factor In Triple Drowning

Posted: Updated:

CEMENT, OK (AP) -- Authorities say alcohol might have been a factor in a triple drowning in Grady County.

Two Chickasha men, 28-year-old Bradley Randal Graham and 38-year-old Jimmy Neal, and 24-year-old Danny Paul Smith of Cement died after their boat sank Friday night at Lake Louis Burtschi.

Authorities recovered their bodies on Saturday morning.

Investigators say the three men, who could not swim, got in a 12-foot aluminum boat with a hole in it about 10:15 p.m. Friday. The boat had no flotation devices.

The OHP report says the boat was about 80 feet from the shore when it began sinking.
