UNDATED -- A 57-year-old Adair woman was killed just outside Big Cabin when she attempted to stop a runaway vehicle.
According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Linda Carol Bradley tried to get into a car that had been parked in a private drive with the engine running. The car was left in gear and started to move forward.
When Bradley tried to enter the vehicle to stop it, she lost her footing as the car hit a tree on the driver's side. She was crushed in the driver's side door and died at the scene of massive head, trunk and arm injuries, the report states.
