SAPULPA, OK -- There are new developments in a story that shocked Green Country over Memorial Day weekend.
Kristina Blackburn will go to trial in Creek County for child abuse.
Creek County prosecutors say she abandoned her newborn son in a dumpster behind the Sapulpa Disabled American Veterans post.
The baby was found alive by the DAV commander, who was taking out the trash.
Blackburn is free on bond.
Her trial is set to begin in November.
