BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The head of a Tulsa non-profit organization which deals with teens has been arrested on complaints of possessing child pornography.

The president of Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, Greg Boyd, 54, was arrested over the weekend. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Saturday on two counts of possessing child pornography.

Junior Achievement's goal is to make learning about finance and business fun. Thousands of students go to Exchange City to put what they learn into action, running businesses of their own.

After a tip from a confidential informant, Broken Arrow Police seized a personal computer from Boyd's Broken Arrow home.

According to the police report, investigators discovered seven videos and eleven images of several children involved in sexual activities. Officers say it appears the images were downloaded from a web site. Boyd is not accused of creating or manufacturing child pornography.

"These charges relate to Mr. Boyd's home computer and the charges do not relate to any activities associated with JA property or his duties as president of JAOK," said Chairman of the Junior Achievement's Board, Alan Armstrong.

Armstrong also says Boyd's position was administrative and he did not have direct access to children. He adds Boyd's background check was clear.

Broken Arrow Police aren't accusing Greg Boyd of any physical acts with children, but he is being held for possession of child pornography.

Boyd is being held in the Tulsa County jail on $20,000 bond.

"We take matters of this nature very seriously, and will cooperate fully with the legal authorities," said Alan Armstrong. "This is the first time in Junior Achievement of Oklahoma's 43 year history that we have been faced with a matter like this. We will cooperate in any way we can with the authorities, as child safety and welfare is paramount at Junior Achievement."
