TULSA, OK -- The family of a man who was injured in an accident caused by escaping horses along U.S. Highway 169 is reaching out for help.

Brandon Osborn, 35, has been in the ICU for more than a week. A husband and father of three, Osborn is a shop foreman for a steel company and was on his way home from work when the accident occurred.

The accident happened October 16 on U.S. Highway 169 between Owasso and Tulsa. Owasso and Tulsa police say 20 to 30 horses got loose from a pasture east of the highway near 56th Street North and wandered onto 169 at about 3 a.m.

A benefit will be held in Osborn's honor to raise funds to help cover medical expenses. The benefit will be held on Wednesday, November 11th at three separate venues.
