NEW YORK CITY -- Oklahoma's Carrie Underwood made a stop by the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday evening to talk about her new CD.
Her new album, called "Play On" hits stores nationwide Tuesday.
She performed on the Late Show Monday night to help promote the release.
The four time Grammy winner and ACM "Entertainer of the Year" re-teams with "Carnival Ride" producer Mark Bright for her third album.
The debut single, "Cowboy Casanova"" is Carrie's fastest rising single to date.
Her first two albums have sold a combined total of more than 10 million copies.
