TULSA, OK -- Two teens have been hospitalized following an auto-pedestrian collision in the 5800 block of South Union Avenue. One, a 14-year-old, is reportedly in critical condition.

The accident happened just before 9 p.m. Friday when a group of four teenage girls crossed Union Avenue on foot. Two of the girls made it across the street, and two were hit by a passing pickup truck, according to Tulsa Police.

EMSA transported both girls to St. Francis Hospital. The second accident victim, described as a 12-year-old girl, was said to be in fair condition.

Tulsa police are investigating the accident. Union Avenue was shut down temporarily Friday night.
