BOISE CITY, OK -- Snow fell late Sunday and early Monday morning across the western end of the Oklahoma Panhandle.
The snow in Boise City in Cimarron County was preceded by rain and sleet as it fell overnight.
Residents tell The News On 6, along with the snow, the wind was gusting at 15 to 25 miles per hour for most of the night.
With the sunshine Monday, the snow is expected to be gone by the time the sun sets in the Panhandle Monday evening.
With the colder temps, the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for western sections of Oklahoma Monday night.
