TULSA, OK -- A car crashed into a utility pole in the 3600 block of South Harvard Saturday morning, blowing two transformers and knocking out power to neighboring homes.

The accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. when a woman lost control of her car that was traveling northbound on Harvard.

Police on the scene said the woman claimed to be narcoleptic, stating she blacked out while driving. She received citations including driving without a driver's license, and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

PSO was en route to repair the utility pole Saturday morning.
