CHANDLER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the unborn child of a woman who was seven months pregnant was killed in a single-vehicle acident on Interstate 44 in Lincoln County.
Troopers say Danielle Wells was critically injured when the vehicle in which she was riding blew a tire and rolled three times.
The patrol says the impact threw Wells and 3-year-old Prince McMillon, the other passenger in the vehicle, out of the van. Troopers say Wells wasn't wearing a seat belt, and the child's car seat wasn't secured.
The driver, James Howard McMillon III, wasn't injured.
