A viewer from Glenpool emailed us about why they haven't seen any progress.

The News On 6 checked with ODOT to get an answer to their question.

Construction crews are working on the project, but the first step is not on the highway itself.

ODOT says they are moving topsoil for the access road that will provide a detour for 111th Street South.
