BRISTOW, OK -- Friends and family will gather this weekend to honor a fallen Oklahoma soldier.
A memorial service is set for Saturday for Army Private First Class Ryan Grady.
Grady, 25, was a Bristow native. He died July 1 in Bagram, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised-explosive device.
Saturday's memorial was to start at 1 p.m. at Bristow High School's Freeland Performing Arts Center.
