OSAGE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A 15-year-old Bartlesville boy is in a Tulsa hospital after he was injured jumping off a bluff into a creek at Osage Hills State Park Thursday evening, June 7, 2012.

The park is located about nine miles west of Bartlesville.

A spokesperson for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, Leslie Blair, says the teen suffered a head injury when he jumped off a bluff overlooking Sand Creek.

Park officials say there are signs on the bluff clearly warning of the danger of jumping.

The Sand Creek bluffs are located at the south end of Osage Hills State Park in Osage County.
