MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

Two young girls reported missing in Midwest City were found safe early Wednesday morning after they became lost.

Samantha Duncan, 11, and Chasity Regimbal, 13, went missing around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police found the girls around 2 a.m.

The girls told police they were walking near the 9800 block of N.E. 21st Street when they became lost. Officers set up a command post at Hilltop Mobile Home park when the girls didn't come home. Police, firefighters and volunteers joined the search. The girls were found early Wednesday morning.

"We located them at 21st and Lukes," said Lt. Matt Dukes with the Midwest City Police Department. "Apparently, they got lost while walking up and down the railroad tracks just to our north."

Police said the girls were tired and hungry, but otherwise all right.
