A mother and her 5-year-old daughter were held at gunpoint late Thursday night in her North Tulsa home.

Tulsa Police say five men entered the woman's home shortly after 11:30 p.m. and ordered the mom and daughter to stay in the bathtub while they ransacked the home.

Police believe the men were only looking for money, because they left several electronic items - including a big screen TV - behind.

The woman told officers that at least two of the men had handguns when they entered the home in the 300 block of West 50th Street North.

All five of the men wore ski masks.

Police say men tore up the home.

"I mean ransacked it. They took the mattresses off, the box springs off the bed. They pulled drawers out," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Steve Stoltz.

"There's a big screen TV, and there were five of them, and they were fairly large males but they left the TVs," he said. "They moved the TV apparently looking for something else."

Other than the money, police don't know why the home was targeted.

The mother and her daughter were not injured, but officers say the daughter was having a hard time dealing with the incident, even after police officers arrived.
