TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police say it appears a large construction dumpster wasn't properly in the traveling position on a trash truck Friday morning, when the dumpster hit a railroad bridge over North Peoria.

The truck was southbound on Peoria when the dumpster was knocked off as the truck traveled under the bridge.

Tulsa Police say it appears the mechanism which loads and unloads the dumpster may have malfunctioned.

The bridge received minor damage, as did the dumpster.

The driver of the truck was taken to a Tulsa hospital.  There is no word on his condition.
