TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Mounds man has died of injuries received in a single-vehicle wreck Friday, July 6, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Harvey Howard Jr., 52, died early Monday morning in a Tulsa hospital.

Howard was critically injured when his 1980 Ford Pickup left the roadway and struck an embankment along 186th Street South near 89th West Avenue in Creek County Friday night.

The truck rolled a quarter time, and Howard was thrown from the passenger side window.

Troopers say the cause of the collision was driving under the influence of alcohol.
