OKLAHOMA CITY -
A private investigator hired by accused murderer Justin Adams' defense team spoke out Saturday.
Adams was arrested in January and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the killing of his wife, Jaymie Adams, and her unborn child. After nearly six months behind bars, Adams bonded out of jail on Wednesday.

A judge had reduced his bail to $100,000.
Dana Reyna, the private investigator, said she has uncovered information that could lead police to different suspects, which might be why Adams' bail was reduced.
"Not going to allow someone out on the streets if they are charged with two counts of first-degree murder if they honestly believe there are other possibilities out there," explained Reyna.

Reyna worked tirelessly and interviewed dozens of people for Adams' defense team. She uncovered information that could get Adams off on the murder charges. She says many people thought this would be an open-and-shut case, but her investigation proved that would not be so. Instead, she said there were several other theories about who may have killed Jaymie based on the lifestyle she and Justin had.

"Justin and Jaymie had an alternative lifestyle that obviously they were trying to cover up when he was arrested, because he lied to law enforcement. That's the bottom line. He lied and it ultimately got him in trouble," said Reyna.
While the lies looked bad, Reyna said that isn't enough to prove Justin killed his wife.
"The alternative lifestyle that they were leading could open up doors for so many other possibilities to have happened. Anyone that has an alternative lifestyle puts themselves at risk and that's exactly what has happened."

Reyna also addressed concerns about Adams' safety. She said his family has received threats from the public since his arrest in January.
Justin and his family have maintained his innocence since Jaymie's body was discovered in January.
