A former employee at the Jess Dunn Correctional Center in Taft is charged in Muskogee County court with having sex with an inmate at the facility.

Tiffany Remer, 28, of Muskogee is charged with one each of sexual battery and false reporting of a crime.

Court records say the incident occurred in late June.  They say Remer had sex with a 35-year-old male inmate in an office at the prison.

The records also stated a few days later Remer told superiors "her office had been compromised by offenders" and "personal documents containing her personal cellular telephone number had been obtained."

The prison conducted an investigation in which Remer and the inmate both confessed, according to the documents.

Court records say Remer was a secretary and had been working at the prison since 2004.

Remer was arrested and booked into the Muskogee County jail. Her next court hearing is September 6th.
