SEATTLE -
A Tulsa pilot was arrested in Seattle, accused of carjacking a man and stealing his car.
It happened Monday night outside an airport hotel.
Joey Haley says he got into his car and realized there was a stranger in the backseat.
Haley says he pulled out his gun and hit the man with it, then jumped out and went for help.
That's when police say the man took off in the car, crashing it a block away.
"He has no idea how fortunate he is to be alive. If my wife and sons were in the car, I would have killed him instantly. I wouldn't have blinked," Haley said.
The guy in the back seat was Crosman Carey, a pilot for Tulsa-based Omni Airlines.
He was scheduled to fly to Japan Tuesday.
Instead, he's in a jail cell.
