Editor's note: On Monday afternoon the Oklahoma Highway Patrol corrected the name of the driver of the Mustang. The OHP says his name is actually Willis George, Jr. not George Willis as initially reported.

Four people died in a crash in Ottawa County on Sunday afternoon, including three teenagers.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a car crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on at about 4:20 p.m. on Highway 60 three miles east of Wyandotte.

The OHP says a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by 39-year-old Willis George, Jr. of Webb City, Missouri crossed the center line for an unknown reason and hit a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup.

The crash killed George as well as two of his passengers; 14-year-old Drake Cobb and 13-year-old Syrrena Sanderson.

A third passenger, 7-year-old Maryssa Sanderson, was taken by an air ambulance to a Springfield, Missouri hospital. She is listed in serious condition. All three of the passengers were from Garland, Texas.

The OHP says only George and Cobb were wearing seatbelts in that vehicle.

The crash also killed a passenger in the pickup. The OHP identifies her as 19-year-old Samantha Delamatter. She was pinned in the truck for more than an hour and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, 22-year-old Spencer Anderson, was taken to a Joplin hospital and was treated and released. Both Delamatter and Anderson are from Fairland, Oklahoma.

The OHP says Delamatter was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash backed up traffic for several miles in both directions.
