ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The driver of a car was pronounced dead at the scene following a crash on a Rogers County road early Thursday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the driver as Christopher James Ketcham, 24, of Claremore.

The OHP says Ketcham was headed north in a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix on South 4190 Road at about 12:45 a.m. when he failed to stop at a T-intersection at Akin Road.

The intersection is about two miles northeast of Claremore.

Troopers say Ketcham was pinned for approximately 3 1/2 hours and was extricated by Tri-District Fire Department.

Ketcham was wearing a seat belt, according to the OHP.
