McCURTAIN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The McCurtain County Sheriff's Office says a missing man and his 9-year-old daughter have been located, and they are safe.

Family members became concerned Tuesday when they couldn't find 44-year-old Albert Pieratt and his daughter, McKayla. The last contact family had with the pair was the previous day when the two walked away from their home near Idabel.

Deputies aren't saying where the two were found, or why they were not in contact with their family.
