A front moving in Tuesday night will bring cold and wet weather to parts of northeast Oklahoma early Wednesday with sleet and light snow. Up to an inch of accumulation is expected.

News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot said the system will spread our way during the night from the southwest.

"That wintry mix is definitely going to be an issue for us through much of the day on Wednesday," Faurot said. Faurot said we may see a mix of snow, ice pellets and freezing rain.

Temperatures will stay in the low to mid 30s, and much of the precipitation will melt as it falls; however, elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses may be hazardous Wednesday, especially in the evening hours.
