A Tulsa Police officer is suing a local newspaper for libel, and invasion of privacy.

In a lawsuit, Shawn King says "This Land Press" collaborated with his ex-fiance on stories painting him to be a child molester and a sexual deviant, claims he says are untrue.

The lawsuit says King deserves damages in excess of $10,000.

King is currently on paid leave from the department.
