Police Arrest Woman Connected To South Tulsa Stabbing

Police say a disturbance proceeded the stabbing.

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police have arrested Veronica Rodriguez in connection with a stabbing in South Tulsa early Thursday.

The incident happened just before 1:20 a.m. at the Red River Apartments in the 1500 block of 71st Street.

Police say there was a disturbance between Rodriguez and the victim prior to the stabbing. The victim ran to a neighbor's apartment seeking help.

EMSA took the man, who was stabbed in the mid-torso, to the hospital. Police say he is expected to recover.

Police say Rodriguez turned herself in at the Family Safety Center.

Rodriguez was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and larceny. She is being held without bond.
