Authorities Seek Nowata County Man Wanted For Domestic Assault

NOWATA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Authorities in Nowata County are looking for information on a man wanted for domestic abuse and assault.

The sheriff's department says James Wooten, Jr. has six prior felony convictions and a history of violence against women.

They say he may be with 24-year-old Hanna Clark, who they are concerned may not have gone with him willingly.

The Nowata County Sheriff's Department says Wooten may be driving a 2007 Jeep Liberty, dark blue, with pink seat covers, bearing Oklahoma tag 825-DYZ.

They say he was last known to be near the Bass Pro Shop in Broken Arrow.

If you have any information on Wooten's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Nowata County Sheriff's Department at 918-273-2287.
