An Oklahoma County deputy arrested a 32-year-old man after finding the suspect passed out in a stolen truck, with drugs sitting in the vehicle.

Just after 8 a.m. Thursday, the deputy was driving in the 7600 block of N.W. 234th Street in Edmond when he saw a white Dodge pickup parked on the side of the road. The deputy approached the vehicle, looked inside and saw William Talbott passed out behind the wheel. The vehicle was also running without a key in the ignition.

The deputy said it took several minutes to wake Talbott. Talbott then told the deputy he thought he was in Shawnee. He also admitted to using methamphetamine a few hours earlier.

The deputy spotted a baggie inside the truck that was filled with a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for meth. The deputy also found a syringe.

After running the license plate on the truck, the deputy learned it had been stolen out of Oklahoma City on May 13. The deputy arrested Talbott. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia, and possession of a stolen vehicle and stolen property.

Talbott's bond was set at $8,500.
