DEL CITY, Oklahoma -

Police say a Del City man instructed his 13-year-old son to attack their next-door neighbor with a riding lawnmower.

The alleged incident happened Saturday.

Police say 45-year-old Roy Bell Jr. is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Bell says police have it wrong. He says his neighbor Jackie McBrayer showed a gun during an argument the two were having.

Bell says he then told his son to get the lawnmower and "mow the grass." However, police say surveillance video shows the assault did happen.

McBrayer has several cameras set up all over the outside of his house. Bell, though, calls McBrayer the "neighborhood bully."

"He takes guns and points [them] in my son's face. He even took a gun and pointed it at me and told me he would kick my butt," Bell said.

McBrayer referred all questions to his Oklahoma City attorney, who hasn't responded to our call.
