TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police say they are questioning a woman who they believe may have a connection to the city's most recent homicide.

"Agents with the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force located Michelle Ashlock at 1:45 p.m.," Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said in a news bulletin.

"She is being interviewed at this time."

Police said earlier in the day that they feared Ashlock, 27, might be in danger. They are interviewing her as a possible witness to the death of Quinton Shaver, 34.

Two men have been arrested in his death.

Homicide detectives are still looking for Angel Proctor, 29, who was last seen in a green Mitsubishi Galant. They found the car parked at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of East Skelly Drive early Tuesday after a citizen tip.

"Even though this investigation is still in the early stages it is evident that this kind of murder could have been prevented if some of the participants had acted in an adult manner," according to Sergeant Dave Walker.

"Emile George July has been described as a time bomb waiting to go off. He carried handguns illegally and ruled his environment by threats and violence."

Police arrested July, 48, and John Hunter, 68, Sunday evening after investigators following a tip found Shaver's body inside a home in the 1800 block of North Trenton they said Hunter led them to.

July was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first degree murder, possession of a firearm after conviction of a felony and possession of a controlled drug. Hunter was booked on a complaint of accessory to first degree murder.

"This cult-like atmosphere that many were living in was drenched in fear and illegal drugs. A phone call to local police prior to a murder would have given law enforcement a chance to arrest July and incarcerate him forever prior to Shaver's murder," said Sergeant Dave Walker.

Police may arrest Michelle Ashlock on an outstanding warrant for drug possession, Walker said.

Court records show Ashlock was arrested in January, 2013, outside a Sand Springs motel where she worked. Police say Ashlock hadn't shown up for work, and another employee found her unresponsive behind the wheel of her car.

Police say she was extremely confused and sedated, and was found to be in possession of Xanax, Oxycodone and methamphetamine.
