William Lee Hunter, Junior, was convicted last year after he was found with child pornography.
He had been teaching at Springdale Elementary in Tulsa, but that job ended before he was charged. Then in April of this year, another teacher at the school went to use one of the school video cameras and found a tape inside.
Tulsa Police say when she watched the tape it showed Hunter placing a video camera inside the vent in the boy's restroom.
Investigators say during 62 minutes of recording you can hear noises in the bathroom, but there's no indication you can see children on the tape. Hunter faces one felony count in this incident.
